China Beach is a 37 kilometres drive from Sooke, and well worth the additional easy-moderate 20-minute hike from the parking lot. China Beach is part of the Juan de Fuca Provincial Park and is a popular place to camp, hike, view wildlife of all sorts, and take in the roaring surf and spectacular Juan de Fuca Strait coastline.
