Discover Sooke

On November 14th, Awareness Film Night will present the film “On the Line” and a post-screening discussion with Celine Trojand from the Dogwood Initiative. In the summer of 2010, filmmaker Frank Wolf and his friend Todd McGowan biked, hiked, kayaked and rafted the GPS track of the 1,170 kilometer proposed Enbridge pipeline. Through the voices of people they meet along the way, their rough and tumble journey reveals the severe risks and consequences associated with this 5.5 billion dollar mega project.
