Ziplining got our AdrenaLine Pumping in Sooke, BC

Looking for an exhilarating way to spend an afternoon? Imagine gliding above the treetops suspended from a steel cable using a pulley and climbing harness system. If this sounds like fun then look no further than Adrena Line Zipline Adventure located beside the 17 Mile Pub on Highway 14, just east of Sooke, British Columbia.

Outfitted in a seat harness and helmet, we set out on a short hike into the woods for our lesson on the trainer zipline. Once up to speed on safety measures and zipping techniques, an ATV whisked us high into the Sooke Hills to our first of seven more ziplines, ranging from 150 to 1000 feet in length.

In about two hours we zipped more than 3200 ft combined, spanning 100 acres of land. We soared through the magnificent coastal rainforest, reaching invigorating speeds of up to 70km/hour. The launch platforms and ziplines towered 60 to 150 feet off the ground, giving way to incredible views of Sooke harbour, the Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains in Washington State. And, our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, Todd and Jimbo, made our experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable.

What an amazing experience—it really got our AdrenaLine pumping, Discover Sooke style.
