Trio bio:
Jennifer Louise Taylor has toured Canada and the US, and been a guest studio musician for CBC national radio. From the acoustic roots tradition, her songs weave a tapestry, both fun and meaningful. Focus Magazine describes Jennifer Louise Taylor’s “velvety contralto [as] magical.”

Ken Hall is a prominent figure in the Victoria music scene. Since moving to the Victoria he has played with Sunyata, the Stomp Club, Emily Braden Trio, The Sidewalk Blues band, Kumbia, and The Sara Merrerios band.

Rose Birney  worked as a radio DJ and producer in the BC hinterland before moving to Victoria and setting up her brass instrument repair shop. She plays mandolin with a number of Victoria-based groups (Four on the Floor, Chattering Class) leaving a trail of grace notes wherever she goes.

Together, Jennifer, Rose and Ken create a sound that is spot on, with influences from the blues to celtic roots and everything in between, bringing a special energy and warmth to the stage.
