May 30, 2009 – Mead-o-rama
Join us for a journey to the Middle Ages and back to modern day life. We will explore one of the oldest alcoholic beverages – Mead.
For anyone who thinks that Mead is “just” wine made from honey then you will be up for a surprise.
Meet Rob from Tugwell Creek, Vancouver Islands first and only Meadery and enjoy fresh bursting flavours of citrus, apples, and strawberries combined with elegant notes of fireweed and other honeys. We will also open the bar and create our own “Mead-tinis”. Or just have it on the rocks?
Saturday, May 30, 2009. Time is from 3:30pm – 5:00pm
The cost for this event is $50 Please make a reservation by calling (642-3421) or email reservations@sookeharbourhouse.com, so we know how many people to plan for.
