Discover Sooke

This weekend while I was at a tradeshow at the Tradex in Abbotsford, Matt Mackenzie from Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina called me to let me know that they officially had enough teams signed up for the VI Salmon Classic. This is going to be huge for the Sooke area. In the little over 2 months that this was announced, they’ve had 47 teams sign up for this event. Wow, was that ever fast!

I can’t stress enough how the vision of a few local people and the teamwork of many have made this event possible. I look very forward to helping work the event this summer and showing all the outsiders why Sooke is one of the best places to live on the west coast.
