Sooke Christmas Parade Makes the Grade
The Sooke Santa Claus Parade took place today and it was wonderful. Santa must have brought a little of the North Pole weather with him, because there was a slight nip of cold in the air, but thankfully, no rain!!! So, with noses red like Rudolph’s and eating the peppermint candy canes that were being given out by the handful, we watched the many Christmas Floats glide by. There was a great turnout; it was nice to see so many from the Sooke community taking part and celebrating the west coast Christmas season.
